WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The 19^th-ranked Lynn University volleyball team hit .348 and posted its third-consecutive shutout with a 3-0 blanking of Palm Beach Atlantic, Tuesday. The Fighting Knights are now 16-1 overall and 6-1 in the SSC.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Blue and White improved their hitting percentage in each of the three sets; .320, .355 and .362
- The visitors posted wins of 25-19, 25-21 and 25-17
- The match featured 18 ties and six lead changes
- An ace from freshman Ula Gorjup and junior Joelle Alexander followed by a kill from graduate Samantha Blahut gave Lynn an 11-4 lead in set one
- Two kills each from Blahut and junior Aline Olegario landed a 23-15 lead
- A pair of late errors handed Lynn the 25-19 win
- The Sailfish rebounded in set two by taking a 10-4 lead
- Olegario smacked two kills and Lynn collected a 7-1 run for a 14-13 cushion
- Gorjup posted two more aces, while sophomore Fabia Gonzalez Stanton and graduate Samantha Wolf each smacked two kills to hand the visitors a 25-21 victory
- Olegario and Wolf each smacked a kill midway through the third and final set as the Fighting Knights emerged from a back-and-forth start for a 16-14 lead
- Olegaro and senior Maria Cecilia Pinho closed the set with three kills down the stretch for a 25-17 win
 
FIGHTING KNIGHT STATS:
- Blahut hit .625 with six kills
- Olegario hit .500 with 12 kills
- Wolf finished with eight kills (.444) and eight digs
- Cecilia Pinho added nine kills and four digs
- Graduate Hope Passerello posted 35 assists
- Senior Isabella Gentile led both teams with 11 digs
