BOCA RATON, Fla. – No. 1 Lynn men's soccer won its SSC Tournament quarterfinal match against Eckerd, 6-0, Monday night.
Dominik N'gatie scored twice as the top seed in the tournament defeated the eighth seed to advance to the conference tournament semifinal.
The Fighting Knights remain unbeaten this season at 13-0-2 overall.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- N'gatie scored the opening goal for Lynn 16 minutes into the match
- The ball was played over the top from
Jan Rohrling and N'gatie took a touch and lobbed it over the keeper, 1-0
- The Tritons tried to equalize with a shot to the bottom-right corner two minutes later but was denied by Lynn goalkeeper
Luca Clavero
- In the 35th minute
Marco Costa passed the ball to Rohrling, who lobbed the ball down the middle of the pitch
- The through ball landed at Kiefer's feet as he scored bottom left, 2-0
- Clavero made saves on two consecutive opportunities for the Tritons in the 38th and 42nd minutes
- Lynn closed the half with a shot from N'gatie and
Ethan Henderson in the last two minutes

Lucas Vila had the opening shot of the second half that aimed for the top right of the net but just missed
- Vila supplied a through ball from the top of the box to
Max Lambertz, where he finessed the ball around the keeper bottom right to make it 3-0 with 23 minutes left of play
- 10 minutes later, Lambertz dribbled through the midfield before he released the ball to Kiefer
- Kiefer, on the right side of the field, passed the ball to the top of the 18 where
Fabian Vyhnalek took a touch and scored bottom right, 4-0

Tony Gomez scored a solo goal in the 82nd minute after dribbling through three defenders in the penalty area, 5-0
- N'gatie closed out the game after being fed a lob pass by
Anton Mand on the right wing and knocked the ball around the keeper in the 86th minute for a 6-0 final

- N'gatie tallied six shots with five on goal
- Kiefer has a team-leading six goals
- Clavero made three saves for his 21
st career clean sheet
- Vyhnalek leads the team with 16 points this season (4 G, 8 A)
