ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Lucas Vila's goal in the 50
th minute proved to be the game-winner as No. 1 Lynn defeated Eckerd on the road, 2-1, Saturday night. With the victory, Lynn has clinched the SSC regular season title. The Fighting Knights are now 8-0-1 in the conference and 12-0-1 overall.
HOW IT HAPPENED:

Dominik N'gatie took the matches first shot on goal in the 17

- Lynn scored its first goal on a deflection in front of the net off a corner to take a 1-0 lead in the 19
th minute
- Eckerd outshot Lynn 5-2 in the first half
- Vila opened the second half with a goal to give Lynn a 2-0 lead in the 50
th minute
