ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Lynn men's basketball dropped its first game of the season, 104-85, at Flagler on Wednesday evening.
Braydon Iuli (21 points on 64% shooting) and
Antoine Jacks (20 points on 57% shooting) led the Fighting Knights in scoring. Flagler went 17-for-31 from three-point range (54%) to stunt Lynn's comeback attempt. The Fighting Knights are now 1-1 this season.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Saints hit two threes in the first minute to open with a 6-0 lead
- Jacks hit a triple to bring Lynn within one, 8-7, at the 17:35 mark
- Flagler stayed hot from deep and led by 10 with 14:19 left in the first half
- Jacks hit back-to-back threes to bring Lynn within three

Carson Smith and Iuli hit from long distance as Lynn climbed to within one with 9:11 remaining
- Smith's three-pointer tied the game at 40
- Lynn took its first lead, 44-43, on
Sveinn Birgisson's layup at the 5:42 mark
- The Saints led by two at the half, 52-50

Leo Beath knocked down a mid-range jumper as Lynn trailed by five with 15:45 remaining in regulation
- A 9-2 Saints run extended their lead to 14, 80-66

Osei Price's layup brought it back to a 14-point game with 7:15 left

- Beath had seven rebounds, two blocks and a steal
