LAKELAND, Fla. The 17
th ranked Lynn volleyball team found its rhythm in a road match against Florida Southern, winning in three sets (27-25, 25-18, 25-19).
Samantha Wolf led the charge with 16 kills and six digs.
Lynn is now 22-3 overall this season and 12-3 in the Sunshine State Conference.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn hit .238 as a team
- Lynn had a 54.8% scoring percentage compared to the Mocs 43.8%

Maria Cecilia Pinho opened the scoring with a kill for the Fighting Knights, assisted by
Hope Passerello
- An ace from
Ula Gorjup gave the Fighting Knights a 5-4 lead
- Back-to-back aces gave the Mocs a 17-9 lead
- Wolf brought the Fighting Knights back into the set, picking up four kills and cutting the Mocs lead to 21-19
- Aces by
Joelle Alexander and Passerello tied the set at 22
- A kill from Pinho and an attack error sealed the first set for the Fighting Knights
- The Mocs got off to a 5-1 lead in set two
- Gorjup cut the deficit with a service ace to make the score 10-7
- A kill by
Fabia Gonzalez Stanton helped the Fighting Knights increase their lead to 13-10
- Kills from Wolf and
Aline Olegario guided the Fighting Knights win in set two, 25-18
- Lynn jumped out to a 10-2 lead in set three
- The Mocs were able to get within striking distance after a service ace cut the lead to 23-19
- Wolf sealed the victory for the Fighting Knights with a kill on an assist by Gorjup
FIGHTING KNIGHT STATS:
- Wolf led both teams with 16 kills and surpassed the 300-kill mark for the season (312)
