BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn men's basketball cruised to an 83-56 win over Webber International on Tuesday evening.
Carson Smith led the Fighting Knights with 25 points on 10-of-13 shooting while adding four steals. He eclipsed the 1,000-point mark in his collegiate career as well, having scored 902 points in four seasons at Northern Michigan before becoming a Fighting Knight this season.
Lynn is 4-3 overall this season.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Smith began the game with a hot hand, knocking down a three pointer on his first attempt and scoring Lynn's first seven points

Leo Beath's dunk for a 12-5 Fighting Knight lead

Sveinn Birgisson's offensive board put-back gave Lynn a nine-point lead with 9:29 left in the first half
- The Warriors cut their deficit to four, 20-16
- Smith's and-one, assisted by
Antoine Jacks, gave Lynn a 26-19 advantage
- Iuli found Jacks for a layup with 27 seconds left as Lynn took its largest lead of the first half, 39-26
- The Blue and White led by 17 after Smith made back-to-back three-pointers
- Iuli's dunk gave Lynn a 47-30 lead with 16:02 showing in the second half
- Four straight threes, including two by
Jordan Wilkins, gave the Fighting Knights 12 straight points and a 61-33 lead
- Beath hit a pair of free throws, a three and a jumper over a 1:19 stretch for a 29-point cushion with 6:25 left in regulation

- Smith posted his second game with four steals this season and has multiple three-pointers in six of his seven contests
- He also surpassed 150 three-pointers in his collegiate career (151)
- Iuli is shooting 37% (7-for-19) from beyond the arc this season and 50% overall (36-for-72)
- Beath is averaging 16.4 ppg and 7.3 rpg
- Wilkins scored a season-high 16 points in 19 minutes
- Lynn has made at least 10 three-pointers in six of its seven games
