BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn men's basketball dropped its SSC game to No. 1 Nova Southeastern on Wednesday, 92-73.
Leo Beath led the Fighting Knights with 18 points while
Carson Smith made four three-pointers.
Lynn is 3-2 overall and 1-1 in the Sunshine State Conference.

Carson Smith knocked down a pair of threes to give Lynn an 8-2 lead
- Beath went on a personal 7-0 run as Lynn jumped out to a 15-2 advantage
- NSU responded with a 15-0 run to take its first lead

Austin Vick broke a scoring drought as Lynn trailed 28-20 with 6:16 remaining in the first half

Jordan Wilkins hit a three-pointer to bring the Fighting Knights to within six, 34-28
- Lynn again closed the gap to six on
Osei Price's triple with 34 seconds showing
- Beath led all players with 12 points at the half
- Beath's dunk stopped a Sharks run to begin the second half
- Smith hit his fourth three-pointer with 14:21 left and Jacks followed with one of his own for a 6-0 jolt at 62-51 score
- Price's fast break layup again made it an 11-point game with just under 10 minutes to play

- Vick grabbed an offensive board and putback to stop a Sharks run

JP Baron each scored four points on an 8-0 run to end the game

- Lynn had three players reach double figures in scoring (Beath – 18, Smith – 14, Price – 10)
- Jacks led the team with five assists and two steals
- Vick grabbed 10 rebounds and is averaging 17.7 rebounds per 40 minutes this season
- The Fighting Knights grabbed a season-high 14 offensive rebounds
