Tradavis Thompson scored 23 points apiece in Lynn's 89-79 win over Eckerd, Saturday night. The Fighting Knights outscored the Tritons 47-31 in the second half, as Thompson added 15 on 7-of-11 shooting and Kapic added 13 over the final 20 minutes.
Lynn is now 16-8 overall and 11-7 in the Sunshine State Conference, while Eckerd settles at 12-14 and 7-11.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn shot 55% in the second half on 16-of-29 from the field
- The Fighting Knights shot 44% from beyond the arc (7-of-16)
- Lynn doubled Eckerd in steals and had a 15-0 advantage in fast break points
- Eckerd opened the game on a 13-4 run
- Lynn scored three-consecutive baskets on a Thompson fast break layup, sophomore

- The Tritons closed the first half on a 7-0 run to take a 48-42 lead heading into the break
- Kapic opened the second half with a layup and then stole the ball and found Evans for a fast break bucket to quickly put Lynn within two, 48-46
- The Fighting Knights took their first lead of the second half at the 17:02 mark on a basket by Gahlert
- Thompson broke a tie with four straight points and a Ballard layup gave Lynn a 64-58 lead
- Thompson and Ballard again ignited the offense with threes, as the Lynn margin increased to eight, 70-62 with 8:16 left in regulation
- Thompson hit a pull-up jumper to extend the lead to double digits with 5:29 showing on the clock and gave Lynn its largest lead at 14 with 2:26 left
- The Fighting Knights withstood the Tritons pressure to finish the game off with an 89-79 win
