ORLANDO, Fla. – The third-ranked Lynn University women's team toppled Michigan Tech 4-1, Tuesday at the USTA National Campus in Orlando. The Fighting Knights are now 7-1 overall this season.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn nearly opened doubles action with two shutouts

Kristen Younes defeated Bella Bigari and Katerina Khardina, 6-0, in the top flight
- The duo is 5-1 this spring in the top flight

Salma Djoubri and junior
Greta Schieroni earned a 6-1 win over Grace Eland and Emily Cojocaru in the second flight
- They are 7-1 on the season and 6-1 at No. 2 doubles
- Djoubri and Schieroni dominated their singles matches as well
- Djoubri took down Eland, 6-0, 6-2 in the top flight, while Schieroni beat Caoimhe McDonnell, 6-1, 6-1 in the second flight
- Djoubri is 8-0 in singles play in the top flight
- Sophomore
Dolores Molina picked up the final singles win with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Emily Rose in the fifth flight
- She is 6-0 in singles with a 4-0 mark in the fifth flight
