Lynn defeats No. 2 North Greenville to remain unbeaten

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn baseball won its third game in as many days after defeating No. 2 North Greenville, 3-2, Saturday afternoon. David Judge homered and drove in a pair of runs while pitchers Devin Sweeney, Drew Clark and Joel Hayner combined to allow just seven hits.
Lynn is 3-0 overall this year while North Greenville drops to 1-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Crusaders put up a run in the top of the first
- After allowing three of the first four hitters to reach, Sweeney allowed just a sac fly before getting out of the jam with a strikeout
- Lynn got the run back in the bottom of the first on David Judge's solo home run to deep left
- Cole Fowler and Juan Carlos Camarena singled to lead off the bottom of the second
- Fowler scored when Judge reached on an error with two outs
- Sweeney pitched a clean top of the third, striking out two
- NGU tied the game in the fourth following a single, hit by pitch and another single
- In the bottom half of the fourth, Julio Camarena doubled and was later driven home on a Judge single to give the Fighting Knights a 3-2 lead
- Clark entered in the fifth and pitched a clean inning
- In the sixth, NGU had the bases loaded with nobody out after an error, single and hit by pitch
- After a foul out, Clark induced a 6-4-3 double play to get out of the jam
- The Fighting Knights turned another double play to end the inning in the seventh
- In the top of the ninth, with a runner on second and two outs, Hayner got Z. Cowart to ground out to first to end the game

FIGHTING KNIGHT STATS:
- Judge hit his first home run of the season and 10th in a Lynn uniform
- Fowler has multiple hits in every game this season and is batting .583 (7-for-12)
- Jesse Robinson is batting .667 (6-for-9) through three games and stole his first base of the season in the win
- Jul. Camarena went 2-for-4 with a double and run scored
- Clark picked up his first win of the season after pitching three scoreless innings of relief
- Hayner saved his second game of the year, tossing two scoreless innings while striking out three
- Lynn pitchers have allowed just three runs over their last 19 IP
- The Fighting Knights have 32 hits through three games and are hitting .305 this season
