WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Olivia Lovins collected four of Lynn's 10 hits as the Fighting Knight softball team dropped it SSC doubleheader at Palm Beach Atlantic, Thursday. Lynn is now 10-27 overall on the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED (Game 1):
- Palm Beach Atlantic finished with 10 hits, while the Fighting Knights had four hits
- The Sailfish scored one run in the first and two in the second for a quick 3-0 cushion
- PBA added solo runs in the fifth and sixth for a 5-0 lead
- With two outs in the bottom of the sixth, Lynn scored its only run of the afternoon
- Ky Sunga singled to right field and advanced to third when
Teagan Riley singled to right
- Riley stole second and Lovins singled to left, scoring Sunga
FIGHTING KNIGHT STATS (Game 1):
- Lovins finished 1-for-3 with an RBI
- Sunga was 1-for-2 with a run scored

- PBA finished with five hits, while Lynn collected six
- The Sailfish opened the nightcap with a run in the first and what would be the game-winning run in the third frame
- The Fighting Knights plated their only run in the sixth inning

Morgan Simpson led off the sixth with a bunt single and she advanced to second on a sac bunt from Sunga
- Simpson scored from second base when Lovins dropped a single into left field
FIGHTING KNIGHT STATS (Game 2):
- Lovins was 3-for-3 with an RBI, her second three-hit game of the season
- Simpson finished 1-for-3 with a run scored
