LAKELAND, Fla. – Lynn men's lacrosse dropped its final game of the regular season to Florida Southern on Wednesday, 19-4. The Fighting Knights finish the 2024 campaign at 5-9 overall and 2-5 in the Sunshine State Conference.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Mocs held the edge in shots (53-37), faceoffs (20-7) and groundballs (42-31)
- Lynn goalie
Tristan Lenard opened the game with a save :19 seconds into the game
- After Joe Michalski scooped up a ground ball, Lynn started the scoring with a goal by
Jalen Stanton at the 13:38 mark in the first period
- The Mocs then took a 3-1 lead with three goals over a 2:36 stretch
- Lenard made two saves over the final 5:23 of the first period as both teams were held scoreless
- FSC outscored the Fighting Knights 6-0 in the second period as Lynn managed just one shot on goal
