BOCA RATON, Fla. – Leon Paulino led Lynn University with three hits and starting pitcher
Matt Tiberia tossed 7.0 innings with seven strikeouts as the Fighting Knights dropped the first game in their series with seventh-ranked Saint Leo, 7-2, Friday afternoon. Lynn settles at 21-21 overall with the loss and 7-15 in the SSC.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The ballgame started as a pitchers' duel as Lynn starter
Matt Tiberia and Saint Leo starter Luke Lashutka combined for eight strikeouts over the first three innings
- The Lions got on the board with two runs in both the fourth and fifth innings for a 4-0 cushion
- The Fighting Knights put a run across the plate in the home half of the fifth when
Jesse Robinson singled to left and scored

- Lynn added to its total in the sixth with another single run, this time off the bat of
