LAKELAND, Fla. – Junior
Kristyn Johnson scored five of Lynn's 11 goals as the 12
th-ranked Fighting Knights fell in the SSC Tournament semifinals to top seed and fourth-ranked Florida Southern, 18-11, Thursday afternoon. Lynn settles at 13-5 overall and now awaits a possible bid to the NCAA Tournament. The selection show can be seen at

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Mocs outshot Lynn 29-23 and held a 19-13 in draw controls
- Florida Southern outscored the Fighting Knights by a combined 12-3 in the first and fourth quarters
- Graduate

Rebecca Clark (9:24) scored in the first quarter to hand the visitors a 2-0 lead
- Southern rattled off the next six goals for a 6-2 cushion after one quarter
- Johnson scored three times in the second frame and sophomore
Elizabeth Clagett closed the first half with a goal as Lynn trailed just 7-6 at intermission

Mallory Jarka each scored inside the first five minutes of the third as Lynn captured a 9-7 advantage
- The Mocs scored five of the game's next six goals to rally for a 12-10 lead after 45 minutes of play
- Johnson opened the fourth quarter with a goal at 12:54
- Southern slowly pulled away by scoring six-straight goals to close the game
