FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Lynn baseball dropped the final game of its series against Nova Southeastern, 4-2, Sunday afternoon. Senior infielder
AJ Orrico scored twice and stole a base to move into 10th place all time in Lynn history with 136 runs scored and 42 steals.
Lynn is 21-26 overall in 2024.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- A leadoff double led to a sac fly and 1-0 lead for NSU in the bottom of the first
- The Fighting Knights tied it in the top of the third
- Nova regained the lead on a solo home run in the bottom of the inning
- The Sharks added two runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to take a 4-1 lead
- Orrico reached on an error and later scored on a wild pitch in the top of the fifth
- Reliever
Drew Clark entered with two outs and the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh and recorded a strikeout to end the threat
- Lynn went down in order in the top of the ninth for a 4-2 final
