BOCA RATON, Fla. – Leon Paulino's two-out, bases-loaded single scored the tying and winning runs in Lynn's 9-8 win over Embry-Riddle, Saturday afternoon. The Fighting Knights posted a season-high 19 hits to split the weekend series heading into Sunday's finale.
Lynn is now 19-17 overall this season and 6-11 in the Sunshine State Conference.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Paulino drove home
Julio Camarena with an opposite field base hit to give Lynn a 1-0 lead in the first inning
- ERAU had runners on second and third with no outs in the top of the third
- Starting pitcher
Devin Sweeney induced two ground outs to third and a pop out to get out of the jam
- Lynn erupted for four runs in the bottom of the third inning
