HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – Lynn men's golf began the 2024-25 season with a sixth-place finish at the 2024 Griffin Invitational – shooting a +30, 882 team score. The Fighting Knights were led individually by graduate student
Joseph Hudak, who tied for third place with a +1, 214.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Hudak posted rounds of 73, 70 and 71 to finish in a six-way tie for third place
- He posted an eagle on the 18th hole in round one
- He shot a -1, 70 in the second round, including a 33 on the front nine
- Graduate student
Jose Ramirez finished tied for 26th with at +9
- He had back-to-back birdies on the fourth and fifth hole during the first round
- He shot a 33 on the back nine of round three, including an eagle on the Par 5 13th hole
- Freshman
Theo Desroches shot a +11 to tie for 34th place
- He eagled the Par 4 first hole in the second round
- Freshman
Joe Houghton, junior
Matthew DePinto (Ind) and sophomore
Sebastiano Mascia all posted a +14 to tie for 43rd place out of a 68 player field
- Houghton posted back-to-back birdies on holes one and two in round two
- Mascia birdied the fourth and fifth hole in his final round
- DePinto shot a -2, 69 in the second round
