Hope Passerello handed out 63 assists as the 25
th-ranked Lynn University volleyball team posted wins over Molloy and Franklin Pierce on the second day of the SNHU/Saint Anselm Tournament. The Fighting Knights defeated both the Lions and Ravens, 3-0, and are now 4-0 following the tournament.
HOW IT HAPPENED (Molloy):
- The Fighting Knights trailed just once in the match and dominated statistically winning 25-13, 25-16 and 25-8
- The Blue and White hit .413 with 45 kills to just seven errors and held Molloy to a -.038 hitting percentage
- Lynn held advantages in blocks (9-5), assists (41-20) and digs (52-35)
- The Fighting Knights hit .522 in the first set and used runs of 7-1 and 8-1 to build an 18-5 lead
- A block from Olegario and a kill from Passerello captured a 25-13 win

Maria Cecilia Pinho each posted two kills for a 6-2 lead in game two
- Gonzalez Stanton smacked four kills in the middle of the set as Lynn built its lead to 20-11

HOW IT HAPPENED (Franklin Pierce):
- The Fighting Knights hit .321 and held a dominating 41-14 edge in kills
- Lynn also collected 10 service aces, 33 assists and 30 digs
- The Blue and White defeated the Ravens by scores of 25-21, 25-14 and 25-10
- Lynn fell behind early in the first set before using a 4-0 scoring run to tie things at 7-7
- Kills from Olegario and Gonzalez Stanton handed it a 20-16 lead
- Cecilia Pinho posted a kill for a 25-21 win in the first set
- The Fighting Knights cruised to a 6-0 lead in the second game behind three service aces from Passerello
- Another 6-0 run increased the edge to 16-9

Jazzy Innis smacked kills late to earn the 25-14 win
