Lynn rolls past PBA, 101-84

BOCA RATON, Fla. – All five starters reached double-digits in scoring and made at least three three-pointers during Lynn's 101-84 victory over Palm Beach Atlantic on Saturday afternoon. The Fighting Knights sunk 18 threes overall on 45% shooting from beyond the arc and were led by 27 points from Leo Beath and 22 from Braydon Iuli.

At 8-3 in the SSC, Lynn now sits in a three-way tie for second place in the SSC with PBA and Florida Southern. Overall, the Fighting Knights are 13-4.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Beath knocked down a three to give the Fighting Knights their first lead, 6-5, at the 18:10 mark
- Iuli had the hot hand, scoring 13 points during an 18-4 run, to put Lynn ahead by 12
- The Sailfish closed the gap to six with 5:32 remaining in the first half
- Jordan Wilkins found Beath for a contested dunk to give the Blue and White a 37-29 advantage
- Iuli grabbed an offensive board and found Beath for a three for a 40-33 score
- Carson Smith's three with 37 seconds left helped the Fighting Knights take a 45-39 lead into the break
- Iuli was 6-for-7 with 17 points and Beath hit 7-of-8 for 14 points through 20 minutes
- Beath began the second half with a traditional three-point play to expand the lead to nine
- Smith and Osei Price knocked down back-to-back threes during an 8-0 spurt to tie its largest lead of the game at 14, 56-42, and force a PBA timeout
- Price hit his third three of the half less than six minutes into it for a 15-point Fighting Knight advantage
- Wilkins' step-back three once again gave the Blue and White a 15-point margin at 65-50
- Austin Vick scored five straight Fighting Knight points and recorded a block at the other end to keep the home team ahead by double-digits
- Sveinn Birgisson hit Lynn's 15th three of the game for a 77-62 advantage with 7:23 remaining in regulation
- Price's offensive rebound led to an Iuli three for a 20-point Lynn margin
- Beath's two-handed jam gave Lynn a 95-74 lead with 2:28 showing on the clock
- Birgisson's layup rounded out the game for a 101-84 final
