Fighting Knights topped by ERAU, 3-1

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Lynn dropped its Sunshine State Conference match at Embry-Riddle on Wednesday by a score of 3-1. Sophomore midfielder Juliana Torres booted her second goal of the season to open the scoring, but the Eagles rallied to earn the home win. The Fighting Knights are now 1-4-4 overall and 0-2-1 in the SSC.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Michaela Virgin tallied the first shot on goal of the match in the 22nd minute, leading to a corner
- Less than two minutes later, Torres put the Fighting Knights ahead with a goal
- The Eagles responded with a goal in the 27th minute to make the score 1-1
- ERAU took the final four shots of the half – all off target
- Embry-Riddle opened the second half with a goal just 39 seconds in to take the lead
- In the 57th minute, the Eagles scored again to expand their lead to two
- Goalkeeper Emma Brunelli made saves in the 61st and 65th minute
- Soon after, K'La Barnes-Blackwood had a chance that went wide
- Brunelli again stoned a pair of shots in the 72nd minute
- Meilani Murillo took Lynn's final shot on goal in the 83rd minute

- Torres now has two goals on the season and four goals in 25 career matches as a Fighting Knight
