PENSACOLA, Fla. - Lynn women's tennis tandem
Kristen Younes and
Meadow Garcia made a strong statement in doubles play at the ITA South Regional Championships, advancing to the quarterfinals behind back-to-back wins over duos from Saint Leo and Valdosta State. The fifth-seeded pair powered past early competition before their impressive run came to a close on Thursday afternoon.

Meadow Garcia as the fifth-seed to take on Saint Leo's Deren Ozel and Camila Keller
- The pair emerged victorious, clutching an 8-7 (7-1) win in the opening bout

- Younes and Garcia dominated their second-round matchup, powering past Valdosta State's Lena Beckx and Milica Prokic with an emphatic 8-4 victory

QUARTERFINALS:
- As one of the final eight teams remaining, Younes and Garcia squared off with third-seeded Kristyna Hranacova and Katja Markus of Nova Southeastern
- Younes and Garcia's afternoon came to an end as Hranacova and Markus defeated the Blue and White duo in the quarterfinal round, 8-3
