LAKELAND, Fla. - The Lynn University men's cross country team continued its 2025 campaign on Saturday morning with an eighth-place finish at the 2025 Sunshine State Conference Championships at Holloway Park. The Fighting Knights were led by sophomore
Christopher Cotilla, who turned in one of his best performances to pace the squad in the 8-kilometer race.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Cotilla led the Fighting Knights across the line in 63rd place overall with a time of 27:20.7, averaging 5:29 per mile, marking his fastest performance of the fall

Renzo Almeida followed as Lynn's No. 2 runner, finishing 72nd overall at 28:01.3
- Freshman
Daniel Reyes continued to show promise in his debut season, clocking 28:39.1 for 81st place, helping to solidify Lynn's team score
- Freshman
Ethan Barnett placed 87th with a time of 29:22.8, while
Kyle Juliano finished close behind in 89th place at 29:26.5, rounding out the Fighting Knights' top five
