ORLANDO, Fla. - The Sunshine State Conference announced its 2026 Men's Cross Country Preseason Coaches Poll, with Lynn projected to finish eighth at the league championship meet this fall.
The Fighting Knights collected 65 points in the poll, placing behind seventh-ranked Barry (55 points) and ahead of Saint Leo (69) and Eckerd (75).
Defending SSC champion Florida Southern topped the poll with nine points and all nine available first-place votes. Embry-Riddle was picked second with 18 points and received the remaining first-place vote, while Tampa rounded out the top three with 24 points.
Palm Beach Atlantic was selected fourth with 44 points, followed by Nova Southeastern and Florida Tech, who tied for fifth with 45 points apiece.
Lynn enters the 2026 campaign looking to build on last season's eighth-place finish at the SSC Championship.
