LAKELAND, Fla. – Lynn men's cross country finished fourth at the 26th FLRunners.com Invitational on Friday evening with a team score of 112. The Fighting Knights posted four scoring finishes inside the top 35 in the 8-kilometer race, led by sophomore
Christopher Cotilla and senior
Renzo Almeida.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Cotilla paced the Fighting Knights, placing 21st overall with a personal-best time of 28:04.73 at a 5:39 mile pace
- Almeida crossed close behind in 23rd place, clocking 28:13.44
- Freshman
Daniel Reyes earned a top-35 result, finishing 31st in 28:49.34
- Fellow freshman
Ethan Barnett followed in 33rd with a mark of 29:18.28, rounding out Lynn's scoring four
- Junior
Kyle Juliano finished in 39th at 30:24.59 for a new personal record
- Junior
Jack Flavin (46th - 32:09.19 (personal-best)) and sophomore
Tyler Barrios (53rd - 33:45.05) added depth to the Blue and White's effort
