ORLANDO, Fla. – Lynn swimming standout
Maurice Grabowski has been named the Sunshine State Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week, the league announced, following a historic performance at the Shark Invite. Grabowski becomes the fourth Fighting Knight swimmer to earn the honor this season and the third on the men's side, joining teammates
Vitaly Kostin and
Efe Guler.
Grabowski delivered one of the most dominant performances in Division II this season, earning the Men's High Point award at the Shark Invite with 73 total points while helping lead Lynn to a runner-up team finish. He headlined the meet by shattering the NCAA Division II record in the 100 Individual Medley, touching the wall in 48.15 to break the previous national mark. The senior also captured first place in the 100 Butterfly with a Lynn school-record time of 46.12, while adding podium finishes in the 50 Free (second, 19.65) and 100 Free (third, 44.67).
In addition to his individual success, Grabowski was instrumental in Lynn's relay efforts, swimming on three podium-finishing relays, including a first-place performance in the 400 Free Relay and runner-up finishes in both the 200 Medley Relay and 200 Free Relay. His record-breaking swims, scoring depth, and relay leadership continue to anchor a standout season for the Fighting Knights as Lynn heads into Sunshine State Conference competition in 2026.
