BOCA RATON, Fla.- The Lynn University men's basketball team picked up an emphatic 94-84 win over Rollins on senior day, tallying 15 three-pointers to set the program record for three-pointers in a season with 297 (previous record was 287 set in 2018-19). The Blue and White were led by
Leo Beath's 29 points and
Jordan Wilkins' six threes.
Lynn improved to 16-7 overall and 11-6 in Sunshine State conference play while Rollins dropped to 15-10 overall and 8-8 in league play

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Svienn Birgisson opened up scoring for the Fighting Knights, tying the game up early at the 19:10 mark on a layup, 2-2
- Rollins built up a five-point lead following a 7-2 run by the Tars at the start of the first half

Leo Beath cut off the Lynn scoring drought with a layup before
Carson Smith tied things up on a shot from long-range to knot things up at 9-9
- The Tars continued to roll on a 4-0 run before Smith and
Osei Price sank back-to-back three pointers to freeze Rollins dead in its tracks, 15-13

Jordan Wilkins got in on the three-point action, dropping in a "trey" at the 13:28 mark to build up the Blue and White's lead to five, 18-13
- Lynn continued to rain down threes in the first half as Birgisson knocked down a three-pointer off a Rollins turnover, amassing Lynn's lead to eight, 21-13
- Rollins went on a 7-0 run to get right back in the game before
JP Baron and Wilkins continued the three-point fiesta to build Lynn's lead back to seven in the blink of an eye, 27-20
- Wilkins dropped in three more three-pointers in the half, with his third, putting Lynn up by 10 at the 1:43 mark
- A pair of last second layups from Beath gave the Fighting Knights a 12-point lead heading in halftime, 53-41
- Smith scored the first bucket for Lynn out of the break on a layup before Wilkins picked up right where he left off, hitting a three-pointer to give Lynn a 15-point cushion at the 17:57 mark, 58-43
- Around the 15:00 mark of the second half, Baron and Price knocked down a pair of three-point jumpers to keep the game's trend going, boosting the Fighting Knights to a 19-point swing
- A layup from Beath at 12:15 put the Blue and White up by a staggering 22 points, 75-53
- Rollins continued to fight back near the midway point of the second half, rallying for 9-2 run to cut Lynn's lead down to 12 with seven minutes left, 79-67
- The Tars cut Lynn's lead to just eight following a pair of free-throws at the 4:26 mark
- With Rollins closing in on Lynn's lead at the three-minute mark, Wilkins dropped in a layup to stop the bleeding and put the Fighting Knight lead back to seven, 83-76
- Beath hammered home a dunk with just under two minutes to play as the Fighting Knights led, 85-78
- Despite a late game scare, Lynn shut the door on Rollins in the final minute, 94-84

- Lynn tied a season best by committing just four turnovers (also 12/10 vs. Webber Int'l)
- The Blue and White have made at least 10 threes in a game 20 times this season
