- A 5-0 run by the Tars put Rollins in front for the first time on the afternoon, 10-9.
- Lynn battled back on a 6-0 run with Jess Knight leading the charge, scoring four of the Fighting Knights' six points as the clock ticked down in the first quarter, 15-10.
- The Blue and White closed out the first frame with a 6-4 run as Trinity Mocadlo and Knight came up big in the closing minutes of the quarter, 21-14.
- Danielle Montelbano gave the Fighting Knights a double-digit lead at the 8:20 mark in the second quarter on a second-chance layup, 26-16.
- Mocadlo dropped in two three-pointers in the second quarter, knocking down her second at the 40 second mark to give Lynn its biggest lead of the game in the first half, 36-23.
- Rollins closed out the half on a 4-0 run to cut Lynn's lead back to single digits before heading into the locker room, 36-27.
- The Tars came out of the gate on a 4-2 run, pulling the contest back to a seven-point game, 38-31.
- Hemingway built some distance with a big three to put Lynn back up by 10 with 8:03 left in the third quarter, 41-31.
- A 4-0 run by Rollins cut the Fighting Knights' lead to just six with 5:59 left in the frame.
- Lynn continued to battle into the end of the third with Mocadlo scoring a layup in the closing seconds of the third, 60-48.
- Rollins stormed back late in the fourth on 7-0 run to cut Lynn's lead to just five with three minutes left to play.
- The Tars scored two more in the closing minutes of the contest as Lynn was able to hold on for a narrow 65-62 victory.
FIGHTING KNIGHT STATS:
- Hemingway recently passed 500 career points (520) while she is just one three away from recording 100 career three-pointers. She hit two on Saturday afternoon.
- Knight racked up a team-high 16 points, recording her third consecutive game with double-digit scoring.
- Montelbano surpassed 100 assists on the season with a game-high seven in Saturday's win.
- Fiore recorded her seventh consecutive game with 10 or more points (10 vs. Rollins), she currently is 44 points away from 1000 career points.
- Hemingway pulled down seven rebounds in the contest, recording a team-high in the category in two-straight games.
