Lynn women fall to No. 7 Flagler in second day of ITA Indoor Championships

2INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.- The fourth-ranked Lynn University women's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision to No. 7 Flagler in a consolation matchup on Saturday morning as part of the ITA Indoor Championships.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Flagler took the doubles point after winning in both the first and third spot.
The duo of Salma Djoubri and Mariya Vyshkina led in the second flight 5-3 over Laura Jipescu and Eryka Kruk before Flagler clinched the doubles point.
Djoubri lost in the first singles flight to fifth-ranked Dana Heimen, 6-4, 6-3.
Vyshkina was in a battle with Anastasia-Aleksandra Nikolova in the number two spot, 6-4, 3-4 before Flagler was deemed the winner.
Carla Galmiche was in a tough-fight on court three with Adela Latalova in a 1-6, 6-2, 2-5 contest before the match was called.
Kristen Younes and Mia Garber were defeated in the fourth and fifth flights as Flagler secured the sweep over the Fighting Knights.

Lynn will compete against the loser of the UIndy and Wingate matchup for seventh-place on Sunday morning at 8 a.m.
