BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn women's basketball closed the home portion of its season with a 69-62 loss against Saint Leo on Wednesday night. The Fighting Knights were led by
Jess Knight's 21 points and 16 rebounds as they dropped to .500 on the season (13-13) and 7-12 in the SSC.
HOW IT HAPPENED:

Channing Chappell got the game started with a three-pointer
- Knight made back-to-back layups for a 7-3 Lynn lead
- The Fighting Knights went on a 12-0 run to take a commanding 19-5 advantage

Danielle Montelbano's layup as time expired gave Lynn a 14-point lead, 23-9, after 10 minutes

Trinity Mocadlo made a pair of free throws and knocked down a three as Lynn as part of a seven-point Lynn swing
- Saint Leo cut the margin to one point with an early run in the fourth
- Four straight points from Knight put Lynn ahead 52-47 with 6:41 remaining in regulation
- Hemingway's jumper put the Fighting Knights up by three, 59-56, with 1:43 left
- A Lions three-pointer tied the game as the road team closed the game on a 13-3 run
