DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.- The Lynn women's basketball team came up just short at No. 8 Embry-Riddle despite a late rally in the fourth quarter, 63-58. In the tight-knit contest,
Trinity Mocadlo put together her best offensive performance of the season, dropping a season-high 24 points and six rebounds.

Lynn dropped to 10-11 on the season and 4-9 in conference play while ERAU improved to 19-2 overall and 13-1 in league play.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Trinity Mocadlo dropped in a layup for Lynn's first points of the evening, tying the game up early, 2-2.
- A pair of back-to-back mid-range shots from Ella Fiore put Lynn up 6-3 with less than five minutes in the first quarter.
- Fiore kept Lynn in front at 9-7 before ERAU rallied for a 6-0 run to take a 13-9 lead with two minutes left in the first frame.
- Embry-Riddle held a four-point lead at the end of the first quarter following a three-point jumper from the Eagles' Jean-Lois Madyson, 16-12.
- Karishman Ortiz scored the first points for the Fighting Knights in the second quarter, pulling Lynn within two, 16-14.
- A 6-2 run by the Eagles put Embry-Riddle up seven with a little over five minutes left to play in the half, 23-16.
- A 4-0 run by the Fighting Knights brought Lynn within three following a jumper from Mocadlo, 23-20.
- Fiore made a layup with a minute remaining in the half before ERAU answered back with a last-second bucket of its own to take a 28-24 heading into halftime.
- The Blue and White came out with some fire out of the half, putting together a 4-0 run to tie things up at the start of the third quarter, 28-28.
- Makayla Hemingway's two-consecutive threes gave the Fighting Knights their first lead since the first quarter, 31-30 with 7:40 remaining in the third quarter.
- The Eagles hit two threes in succession to jump up by six on a 7-0 run.
- A layup from Fiore late in the third quarter brought Lynn within one of ERAU's 40-39 lead.
- Mocadlo capped off the third quarter with a three to tie the game up at 42-42.
- Embry-Riddle took its first double-digit lead to start the fourth quarter on a 10-0 run, 52-42.
- The Blue and White battled back on a 12-2 run that saw Rachel Romich knot the contest up on driving layup, 54-54.
- Embry-Riddle built some distance in the late minutes of the game, scoring five points in less than a minute, 59-54.
- A pair of layups from Hemingway and Mocadlo kept Lynn in the game with less than a minute left, 59-58.
- With the clock ticking down, Lynn was forced to foul to try and make something happen. In a tight-knit battle, Embry-Riddle closed out the game 63-58.

FIGHTING KNIGHT STATS:
- Mocadlo's season-high 24 points came on 7-17 shooting from the field, 3-9 from beyond the arc and 7-9 from the charity stripe.
- Jess Knight's eight rebounds mark her most since Jan. 8 in which she pulled down 12 at Florida Tech.
- Danielle Montelbano's team-high three steals were her most since Jan. 11 at Rollins. She also led the team in assists with five on the evening.
- Fiore finished the game with 10 points while leading the team with nine rebounds.
