BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn baseball lost a back-and-forth contest with Bentley 12-8 on Saturday afternoon.
Jesse Robinson homered, scored three times and stole two bases, while
David Judge reached in all five of his plate appearances (3-for-3, two walks) and doubled twice.
The Fighting Knights are now 3-3 overall in 2025.
HOW IT HAPPENED:

Blake Mayberry led off the bottom of the first with a walk but was left stranded at third in a scoreless first inning

Juan Carlos Camarena led off the bottom of the second with a base hit to left but was unable to score
- Bentley scored the game's first run on a passed ball in the third
- Lynn responded with a run in the third to tie the contest, 1-1

Blake Mayberry's two-out double scored Camarena
- DiMaggio struck out the first two Bentley batters in the top of the fifth, but the next five hitters reached base for two-runs and a 3-2 lead

Jared Terefenko entered in relief with two outs and the bases loaded, recording a strikeout to get out of the jam

Leon Paulino smoked a base hit up the middle and stole second in the bottom of the fifth
- Judge's second double of the game scored Paulino to tie the game, 3-3

Amaris Harrison's opposite-field bloop single scored Judge on a close play at the plate for a 4-3 Lynn advantage through five
- Two walks and an error were proceeded by a Bentley grand slam to regain the lead, 7-4, in the top of the sixth
- Robinson took a low, outside fastball the other way for a solo homer to bring Lynn within two
- The Blue and White left two runners stranded in both the seventh and eighth innings
- Three hits, two walks and a hit by pitch led to five more Bentley runs in the ninth
- Down 12-5, the Fighting Knights rallied for three runs in their final at bats
- Three walks and a fielder's choice scored Harrison and Paulino later drove in Robinson and
Hayden See for a 12-8 final
