MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Lynn dropped both ends of its doubleheader with St. Thomas on Saturday by scores of 6-1 and 7-3.
Aun'Yale Howard totaled three hits to extend her hitting streak to nine games to start the season.
The Fighting Knights are now 6-3 in 2025.
HOW IT HAPPENED (Game 1):
- Howard led off the game with a triple

Teagan Riley's sac fly to second base scored Howard for a 1-0 Lynn lead
- The first two Bobcat hitters in the bottom of the second inning reached on hits and later scored on a groundout and sac fly to take a 2-1 advantage

Ashlee Martinez and Howard each singled in the third but were unable to score
- Three straight singles and a double led to two more St. Thomas runs in the third inning
- A two-run single in the bottom of the sixth gave the Bobcats a 6-1 lead
- The Fighting Knights were held hitless over their final four innings

Madi Prickett tossed 2.1 perfect innings of relief, striking out two
- Howard went 2-for-3 to extend her hitting streak to eight games to begin the season and raise her batting average to .429

- Martinez went 1-for-1 with a walk to raise her career OB% to .400 (30 total plate appearances)
HOW IT HAPPENED (Game 2):
- The Bobcats scored four runs with two outs in the bottom of the first inning

- Sunga's sac fly scored Hope for a 4-2 score
- Quinn Lockart scored in the top of the fifth to bring the Fighting Knights within one
- St. Thomas sent nine batters to the plate in the sixth inning, scoring three runs, to lead 7-3
- The Blue and White went down in order in the seventh
