HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Lynn University women's lacrosse team claimed its second win of 2025 in Alabama with a high-scoring 21-17 victory over the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) on Sunday afternoon. The Fighting Knights overcame an early deficit and dominated the second half to secure their second-straight road win.
The Blue and White return to Boca Raton, Fla. with a 2-0 record to start the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED:

Rebecca Clark opened the scoring for Lynn with an unassisted goal at 13:30 in the first quarter.
- UAH jumped out to an early lead, scoring seven goals in the first quarter to take a 7-4 lead.
- Exley netted a man-up goal off a
Hannah Connors assist at 1:27 in the second to equalize the game for Lynn, 10-10
- Johnson was able to maintain the tie with just 35 seconds until the break, 11-11
- The Fighting Knights took control in the third quarter with a six-goal scoring run from Connors,
Olivia Fox, Exley, a team awarded goal and two from Johnson
- The run gave Lynn a 16-12 lead with 7:33 to play in the third
- UAH attempted a late push in the fourth quarter, but Lynn's defense held firm while adding a man-up goal from Clark and the final score from Johnson to seal the win, 21-17
FIGHTING KNIGHT STATS:
- Johnson led all scorers with eight goals and two assists
- This marks as one of Johnson's highest scoring games in her career at Lynn
- Lynn outshot UAH 34-32, while out shooting the Chargers in the second, third and fourth quarters
