BOCA RATON, Fla.- The Lynn University baseball team cruised past Georgian Court behind a brigade of stellar hitting from the Fighting Knight offense on Tuesday afternoon, 14-6. The Blue and White tallied a total of 15 hits in the contest including six doubles and two home runs.

Following the win, Lynn improved to 12-9 on the year while Georgian Court fell to 1-6 in 2025.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Lions raced out to a 4-0 lead in the top of the first on four hits and one error to kick off the game.
- The Fighting Knights answered back in the bottom of the frame on an RBI double from Cole Fowler to cut GCU's lead to three, 4-1.
- Georgian Court cracked a home run in the top of the second to regain their four-run lead in a flash, 5-1.
- DJ Flowers responded on behalf of the Fighting Knights on a lead-off home run in the bottom of the second to cut the Lions' lead back to three, 5-2.
- The Blue and White found their offensive mojo in the bottom of the third as Leon Paulino blasted a two-run shot out to right, slicing Lynn's deficit to just one, 5-4.
- In the blink of an eye, the Fighting Knights tied up the game at 5-5 following a wild pitch that scored Shawn Dougherty at the end of the frame.
- Lynn went on to double its score in the bottom of the fourth, racking up five runs on five hits.
- Dougherty scored two runs on a two-RBI single before Flowers tallied two more on a hard-hit ball to left, 9-5.
- Flowers went on to score on a wild pitch to conclude the five-run frame, 10-5.
- Georgian Court managed to score what would be its last run in the top of the fifth on an RBI-groundout, 10-6.
- The speedy Dougherty rounded the base path in the bottom of the sixth on multiple miscues from the Lions to open the bottom of the sixth with a run, 11-6.
- Juan Carlos Camarena connected on his second double of the afternoon, scoring Flowers later in the frame for a 12-6 cushion.
- Hayden See opened the bottom of the eighth with an RBI double before Jorge Romero closed out the scoring for the Blue and White with an RBi single, 14-6.
- The Fighting Knights closed out the top of the ninth with a sliding, athletic catch from See at catcher to give Lynn its 12th win of the season, 14-6.

FIGHTING KNIGHT STATS:
- The Fighting Knights brought in four different pitchers in the game with freshman Justyn Hart (1-1) earning his first pitching win in a Lynn uniform. He allowed just two runs on four hits with two strikeouts.
- Allan Jorge finished the game with a team-best four strikeouts, allowing one hit for no runs.
- Paulino has been dominant at the plate, blasting home runs in each of his three previous outings.
- Fowler has tallied multi-hit performances in each of his last five starts. He is currently riding high on a 16-game hitting streak.
- Flowers recorded his first homer in a Lynn uniform. He also picked up his first game with three or more hits for the Blue and White.
- Camarena doubled twice in the game for his first game as a Fighting Knight with two or more extra-base knocks.
- Jesse Robinson has tallied two hits in each of his last three starts.
