BOCA RATON, Fla. – Kristyn Johnson,
Elizabeth Clagett and
Hannah Exley each scored a hat trick in No. 6 Lynn's 12-4 win over Georgian Court on Wednesday afternoon. The Fighting Knights outshot the Lions 26-2 in the first half and caused 29 total turnovers to bring their record to 8-0 on the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- After
Rebecca Clark caused a turnover, Johnson scored to give Lynn a 1-0 lead 5:44 into the game

Lauren O'Brien then caused a turnover as Clark fed Johnson for a goal
- Angelina Huggins assisted Johnson with 1:52 left in the first as Lynn led 3-0 after one period
- Clagett picked up a ground ball, leading to a goal by Exley just 58 seconds into the second period
- Huggins scored a man-up goal at the 12:30 mark with
Hannah Connors recording her second consecutive assist
- Clagett added a free-position goal for a 6-0 Fighting Knight lead
- Exley and Johnson scored 22 seconds apart and Clagett added another goal with 14 seconds remaining in the half for a 9-0 score
- Exley's goal 53 seconds into the second half put the Blue and White up by 10
- Georgian Court held Lynn scoreless for the remainder of the third while adding two goals for an eight-goal margin, 10-2, heading into the final frame

Sara Williams put Lynn back on the board 48 seconds into the fourth period for an 11-2 Lynn lead
- The Lions scored two goals over a 23 second span to get within seven
- Clagett scored with 4:26 remaining for the final goal of the game and a 12-4 final
