SAINT LEO, Fla. – The high-scoring Fighting Knight offense prevailed once again as the sixth-ranked Lynn women's lacrosse team dominated No. 15 Seton Hill 21-7 on Saturday afternoon.
Kristyn Johnson scored five goals, while
Angelia Huggins,
Hannah Exley, and
Elizabeth Clagett each netted four in the neutral site showdown.
The Fighting Knights remain undefeated at 9-0 overall this season after defeating multiple highly ranked opponents while the Griffins dropped to 3-3 overall.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Clagett set the tone for Lynn's offense, opening the scoring just 11 seconds in, 1-0.
- Huggins doubled the lead after scoring at the 12:49 mark on an assist by
Rebecca Clark, 2-0.
-Clagett completed a hat trick after she scored two consecutive goals at 11:57 and 9:48, 4-0
- Johnson struck twice in the first quarter, 6-1.

Hannah Exley closed out the high-scoring quarter with a goal of her own to give a Lynn 7-1 lead.
- Clark facilitated the offense with three assists, adding two goals of her own, including one in the second quarter to extend Lynn's lead to 8-2.
- Huggins and Exley scored back-to-back goals before Johnson capped off the first half with two goals to send Lynn into halftime with a 13-4 advantage.
- Exley and Clagett each found the net to keep a commanding advantage in the third quarter, 18-7.
- The Fighting Knights closed the game out strong with Johnson,
Ella Timperio and
Meredith Ravizza each scoring in the fourth quarter to seal the 21-7 victory.
