BOCA RATON, Fla. – The fourth-ranked Lynn University women's lacrosse team continued their dominant run with a thrilling 18-12 Senior Day victory over Saint Leo, Saturday afternoon.
Rebecca Clark led the charge with a stellar six-goal performance, the most she has scored in a game over her collegiate career.
HOW IT HAPPENED:

Elizabeth Clagett struck first for the Fighting Knights just a minute and a half into the game
- Saint Leo managed to take the lead, 2-1, with 10 minutes remaining in the first quarter
- However, Lynn went on a five-goal run to regain the lead, 6-2 with goals from
Kristyn Johnson,
Angelia Huggins (2) and Clark (2) to end the first quarter
- Johnson completed a hat trick after scoring back-to-back goals with 10:31 left in the half, 8-3
- The Lions trimmed the deficit to 8-6 by halftime
- Clark completed her first hat-trick with 12-14 left in the third quarter to keep Lynn in the lead, 9-7
- Back-to-back goals from Clagett just one minute apart gave Lynn a five-goal cushion with eight minutes left in the third, 11-7
- Clagett became the third Lynn player to complete a hat-trick at the 6:50 mark to give the Blue and White a 12-8 lead
- Johnson closed out Lynn's scoring in the third quarter to maintain a four-goal lead before the fourth, 13-9
- The Lions went into the fourth quarter scoring two consecutive goals to narrow their deficit, 13-11
- Clark responded scoring her second hat-trick in two minutes with 6:34 left in the fourth, 15-11

Taylor Tobin and Huggins' third goal of the game sealed the victory for Lynn, 18-12
FIGHTING KNIGHT STATS:
- Johnson notched four goals, bringing her season total to 57, the second-highest in the nation and the top mark in the Sunshine State Conference
- Clagett also found the back of the net four times, raising her season tally to 28 goals
- Clark dished out four assists, increasing her season total to 24, the third-most in the SSC
- The six goals scored by Clark is the most goals she has scored in a single game
- Clark, Johnson, Clagett, and Huggins all earned at least one hat-trick

Ava Ceglia recorded a season-high 12 saves
- She is ranked third in saves in the SSC as well as fourth in saves per game with a 5.58 percentage
