MELBOURNE, Fla. – Alessio Demichelis was named the Sunshine State Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week, Monday, after helping Lynn to a league win over Palm Beach Atlantic.
 
Last week, Demichelis defeated Luis Eduardo Platas, 6-1, 6-1 in No. 1 singles, helping lead Lynn to a 5-2 victory against PBA. He also teamed up with Davide Cortimiglia in the No. 1 doubles spot to defeat Alejandro Rol Franco and Milan Visontai, 6-4.
 
Demichelis has been a huge contributor to the success of the Blue and White. Since joining the team in mid-February, the senior has lost just one match at 4-1 in singles action and 4-2 in doubles play.
