Baseball rolls to 14-4 victory, wins fourth straight game

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Leon Paulino and Cole Fowler each homered for the second straight game as Lynn defeated Bentley 14-4 on Sunday. The Fighting Knights pounded six doubles, including five during a six-run third inning to secure their fourth win in a row. Fowler raised his season average to .413 and extended his hitting streak to 15 games. Lynn is now 11-9 overall in 2025.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Falcons took a 2-0 lead in the top of the first with help from a double and two singles
- Lynn responded with five runs in the bottom of the frame
- After Jesse Robinson and Fowler singled, Paulino drilled a three-run homer to right field
- Shawn Dougherty and David Judge walked and were both driven in on Ivan Herrera's double to the gap
- Brad Benton entered in relief in the top of the second and fired three straight 1-2-3 innings
- The Fighting Knights put up another crooked number in the bottom of the third after hitting five doubles
- Herrera hit another double to bring home Judge
- Amaris Harrison drove home Herrera with an RBI double in the next at bat
- Robinson's double scored Herrera for an 8-2 lead
- Fowler's two-run double knocked in Robinson and Blake Mayberry
- Dougherty finished the scoring with a double to left to score Fowler for an 11-2 Lynn lead after three innings
- Fowler made a diving stop to start a 5-4-3 double play to end the top of the fifth
- Fowler then led off the bottom of the inning with an opposite-field solo shot to push the Lynn margin to 10, 12-2
- Paulino tripled and was driven in by Dougherty for a 13-2 score
- Ahmir Cournier drove in the final Lynn run on a single to score Harrison
- Bentley scored two unearned runs in the seventh
- Reliever Devin Sweeney pitched two scoreless innings to finish off the 14-4 win
