DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Lynn exploded for a season-high in runs in an 18-9 win over Embry-Riddle on Friday. Five Fighting Knights had multiple hits in the game, as
Cole Fowler hit a pair of three-run homers and went 5-for-6 with seven RBI. Blue and White hitters accumulated 18 hits and eight walks in the high-scoring victory.
Lynn is now 21-14 overall this season and above .500 in the SSC at 10-9.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn scored five runs in the top of the first
- Fowler hit a three-run homer after
Blake Mayberry singled and
Jesse Robinson walked
- Paulino followed with a solo shot to right
- With two outs,
Amaris Harrison was hit by a pitch,
David Judge singled, and
Bryant Zayas singled home Harrison
- The Eagles scored three runs in the bottom of the third to trail by two, 5-3
- The Fighting Knights retook a five-run in the top of the fourth on another three-run shot by Fowler
- ERAU put up six runs on six hits in the bottom of the fourth to take an 9-8 lead
- Lynn responded with six runs in the top of the fifth
- Mayberry, Robinson, Fowler and
Ivan Herrera each drove in a run while
Shawn Dougherty hit a two-run double
- Four more runners crossed the plate for the Blue and White in the top of the sixth to take an 18-9 lead
- Mayberry singled home Judge to start the scoring in the frame
- Robinson doubled to left as two more runs scored
- Paulino's sac fly later plated Robinson

Brad Benton ended the sixth and seventh innings with strikeouts
