DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.- The sixth-ranked Lynn University women's lacrosse team fell in the final regular season contest of the 2025 season to No. 4 Embry-Riddle on Wednesday evening, 13-7. The Fighting Knights finished the regular season 14-3 and 4-3 in Sunshine State Conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn kicked off the scoring in the opening period as
Kristyn Johnson found
Hannah Exley for a quick strike, 1-0
- Embry-Riddle closed out the first with a 3-0 goal run to take a two-goal lead, 3-1
- The Eagles opened up the second frame with a goal scored within the first two minutes, 4-1
- The Fighting Knights answered back as
Angelia Huggins found the back of the net on a dish from Johnson, 4-2
- Exley quickly made the game a one-score affair, delivering an unassisted goal at the 7:20 mark in the second, 4-3
- Embry-Riddle took a two-goal lead once again, striking with just under five minutes left in the second quarter, 5-3
- The Eagles came out of half-time scoring the first goal of the third quarter to take a three-goal lead, 6-3

Rebecca Clark quickly made it a two-goal game once again, netting an unassisted goal at the 10:00 minute mark, 6-4
- ERAU regained momentum, score three unanswered goals to cap off the third period, 9-4
- Embry Riddle then opened the fourth period with three more goals to go up by eight, 12-4
- The Blue and White fought back to cut the Eagles' lead down to six with back-to-back goals from Johnson and
Elizabeth Clagett, 12-6
- The Eagles tallied a goal within the three-minute mark to make it a seven-goal contest, 13-6

Sara Williams capped off the game with a last-second goal as Embry-Riddle took the contest at 13-7 by the final horn.

FIGHTING KNIGHT STATS:
- Exley led the Fighting Knights with two goals on the afternoon
- It marks her ninth game with two or more goals this season
- Clark, Johnson, Clagett and Huggins each tallied one goal in the contest
- Johnson led the team with two assists
- She now has two or more assists in eight games this season
- On the defensive end,
Ruby Studer led the team with three caused turnovers, marking a season-best for her
- Clark, who caused two turnovers against the Eagles, has recorded two or more caused turnovers in all but four games this season
