AUSTIN, Texas – Lynn University junior
Maurice Grabowski has been named to the 2024-25 Academic All-America Men's Swimming & Diving Team as selected by the College Sports Communicators, Wednesday.
Grabowski was named to the Third Team after being selected to the Academic All-America team for the first time in his career.
A Neu-Ulm, Germany native, Grabowski boasts a 3.65 GPA and majors in International Business Management. Most notably, Grabowski is the first CSC Academic All-America in the history of the Lynn men's swimming program.
Grabowski carved out one of the most impressive seasons in Lynn men's swimming history, racking up six All-American finishes including four First Team nods at the NCAA Championships back in March. The Fighting Knight junior placed second in the 50 Freestyle at the Championships with a school-record setting time of 19.45. He also came in second in the 100 Free with a SSC-record time of 42.59.
He is currently an eight-time All-American and earned a spot on the All-SSC First Team for his string of performances last winter. He was also named the SSC Swimmer of the Meet at the SSC Championships back in February, earning the title for the first time in Lynn men's swimming history.
