KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Lynn University men's basketball was recognized for outstanding academic achievement by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) on Thursday afternoon. Head Coach
Bill Morosco's program earned the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award for completing the 2024–25 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.
In addition, 11 Fighting Knights were named to the 2024–25 NABC Honors Court: Artem Ryzhenkin,

Among nearly 400 programs recognized by the NABC, Lynn was one of just eight institutions with more than 10 student-athletes honored—ranking tied for fifth among all NCAA programs. The Blue and White were joined by Young Harris (also with 11 honorees) as the only Division II programs to reach that mark.
The Team Academic Excellence Award recognizes men's basketball programs that finish the academic year with a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The Honors Court recognizes juniors, seniors, and graduate students who achieved a GPA of 3.2 or higher in 2024–25.
On the court, the Fighting Knights capped a strong season with a 21–9 overall record and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
