TEMPE, Ariz. – The Lynn University men's tennis team has once again been recognized for its excellence in the classroom, earning the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) 2025 Division II All-Academic Team award. This marks the 14th time the program has received the honor since the ITA began recognizing academic achievement in 2004.
The Fighting Knights posted a 3.22 team GPA during the 2024-25 academic year and were one of seven Sunshine State Conference schools to receive the distinction.
In addition to the team honor, an impressive 12 Lynn student-athletes were named ITA Scholar-Athletes, having achieved a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Leading the way were seven players who earned a perfect 4.00 GPA: senior Gianmarco Amatiste (Wealth Management), graduate student
Davide Cortimiglia (Communication and Media), senior
Alessio Demichelis (Business Administration), senior Gabriele Felline (Wealth Management), senior
Henry Habib (Sports Management), sophomore
Smaran Rangarajan (Wealth Management), and senior
Milan Zivkovic (Aviation Operations).
Also earning Scholar-Athlete recognition were junior
Yaron Guberman (3.93 – Psychology), freshman Aaron Brandenberger (3.89 – Entrepreneurship), sophomore
Lennart Ostheimer (3.73 – International Business Management), junior
Santino Morel (3.53 – Sports Management), and sophomore
Mike Glowacki (3.53 – Biology).
The ITA All-Academic Awards highlight student-athletes who excel both athletically and academically, reinforcing the Fighting Knights' ongoing commitment to high achievement on and off the court.
