ORLANDO, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference released its women's soccer 2025 Preseason Coaches Poll and Lynn University was picked eighth with 40 points.

The Fighting Knights reached the SSC Tournament in 2024 after dropping just three league matches—their fewest in a season since 2004. In his fifth year at the helm, head coach John Markey will look to blend a core of experienced returners with a wave of talented newcomers to push the program even further.

Florida Tech received the most points in the poll, including seven first-place votes, followed by Nova Southeastern, Rollins and Embry-Riddle. The Blue and White were just one point shy of seventh-place Barry.

The Fighting Knights' 2025 campaign begins on Thursday, Sept. 4 at 3:30 pm against Texas A&M International at Bobby Campbell Stadium.
