PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Lynn University women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to No. 7-ranked West Florida on Thursday evening at the UWF Soccer Complex. Goalkeeper
Emma Brunelli posted a career-high 11 saves to lead the Fighting Knights. The Blue and White are now 1-1-1 this season.

Tyler Vance recorded Lynn's first shot on goal in the 21st minute

Brisa Sastre added another attempt in the 44th minute, which was also saved by the UWF goalie
- West Florida opened the scoring in the 53rd minute when Alexis Castle converted from outside the penalty area off a feed from Nicola Salawa
- Brunelli made a highlight save in the 67th minute pushing aside a long-range effort to keep the score 1-0

Calista Cali forced another save in the 71st minute down the middle of the net
- The Argonauts extended their lead to 2-0 in the 84th minute
FIGHTING KNIGHT STATS:
- Brunelli's 11 saves are tied for the 10th-most in a match in program history
- Four saves came in the first half and seven came in the second
- Lynn totaled four shots with two on target
- West Florida held a 29-4 edge in shots and a 12-3 advantage in corner kicks
- The Fighting Knights are 7-9 all time against the Argonauts
