CLINTON, Miss. – Dominik N'gatie delivered a brace, including the game-winning strike with under four minutes remaining, as Lynn defeated Mississippi College, 2-1, on Friday night. The late game heroics lifted the Fighting Knights to their third-straight victory to open the 2025 season.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Fighting Knights showed their intent early with back-to-back shots inside the opening five minutes

Robin Muenst fired Lynn's first attempt in the 3rd minute, followed quickly by
Junior Smith in the 4th

Fynn Friedrichs forced a save in the 22nd minute before N'gatie was denied from close range seconds later
- Lynn maintained pressure throughout the first half, outshooting the Choctaws 11-4
- N'gatie broke the deadlock in the 70th minute with a low finish after Lynn won possession in midfield, 1-0
- Mississippi College answered in the 78th minute with a 40-yard free kick from Sergio Garrido, 1-1
- With under four minutes left, N'gatie struck again, blasting a shot off the crossbar and over the line for the game winner, 2-1

- Lynn outshot Mississippi College 20-13, including a 10-4 edge in shots on target
