FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. – In an SSC battle between two ranked teams, No. 1 Lynn came back to defeat No. 13 Nova Southeastern, 4-2, on Wednesday evening. The Fighting Knights trailed 2-1 at the half but three-straight goals gave the Blue and White their sixth-straight win of the 2025 campaign, including a second conference victory.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Sharks took the first shot of the match in the 12th minute
- In the 21st minute Fabian Vynahlek carried the ball through midfield and slipped a through ball past the Sharks' defense to set up
Dominik N'gatie for a 1-on-1 finish into the bottom left corner for a 1-0 lead
- The Sharks responded quickly with a goal of their own seven minutes later

Luca Clavero made his first save of the match in the 31st minute
- Nova Southeastern then took the lead in the 35th minute to take a 2-1 advantage into the break
- Clavero kept it a one-goal game with a save less than three minutes into the second half
- N'gatie equalized the game in the 53rd minute in the second half after he fired a shot from just outside the penalty area, 2-2
- Lynn regained the lead in the 66th minute as
Robin Muenst buried a low driven shot from 17 yards into the bottom left corner off a feed from N'gatie, 3-2

Luan Barroso Rennstich doubled Lynn's lead by breaking in behind the defense on a through ball from Muenst to make it 4-2
