BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Lynn University women's soccer team battled to a 0-0 draw with Texas A&M International on Thursday evening at Bobby Campbell Stadium to open the 2025 season. Sophomore goalkeeper
Emma Brunelli posted four saves in her first shutout of the season, while the Fighting Knights held strong despite playing down a player for the closing minutes. The game was called due to inclement weather at the 72
nd minute.

Juliana Torres registered Lynn's first shot in the 6th minute, sending her attempt wide right

Brisa Sastre followed with a shot over the crossbar in the 15th minute
- Brunelli made her first save of the match in the 20th minute on a low strike from TAMIU's Vera Funk
- Torres forced a stop from the Dustdevils' keeper Maria Melendez in the 21st minute
- Sophomore
Kiana Rhee-Osorio's shot in the 25th minute went just wide right
- Sastre was issued a red card in the 52nd minute, leaving Lynn with 10 players for the final minutes of play
- Brunelli made back-to-back saves on Rosa Caird in the 52nd minute and Camila Razcon in the 58th to preserve the shutout

Isabella Humbles created a scoring opportunity in the 66th minute, sending a shot just off target
- Brunelli came up big again with a stop on Loren Perez Barrera in the 63rd minute for her fourth save of the night
- The Knights held off three late TAMIU corners and a final push in the closing minutes to secure the draw before the game was indefinitely suspended
