WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Sophomore
Christopher Cotilla turned in a 16th-place finish to lead the Lynn University men's cross country team to a fifth-place result at the season-opening Keiser University Flagship Invitational on Friday morning.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Fighting Knights finished fifth (105 points) with an average time of 16:48, while Nova Southeastern captured the team title with an average time of 16:08 (39 points)
- Cotilla paced the Fighting Knights with a personal-best (5k) 16:23.7 for 16th overall.
- Senior
Renzo Almeida followed closely in 18th at 16:25.9.
- Freshman
Ethan Barnett impressed in his Lynn debut, claiming 20th in 16:38.4.
- Freshman
Daniel Reyes placed 26th in 17:08.4 for his first meet with the Fighting Knights
- Junior
Kyle Juliano closed out Lynn's scoring five in 32nd at 17:27.1 for a new personal-best
- Junior
Jack Flavin also competed, finishing 43rd in 19:06.8 for a new PR
